This second-generation unit boasts an impressive flow rate of 8.7 GPM at 11.6 PSI, which is more than double the problematic OEM pump's flow of 3.00 GPM, and also surpasses its own predecessor. This substantial increase in coolant flow directly contributes to more effective heat removal from the incoming air charge. The result is a denser air/fuel mixture and significantly cooler charge air temperatures across the entire operating spectrum, leading to improved engine performance. Included with the intercooler pump upgrade is a model-specific wiring harness, a custom mounting bracket, all necessary hardware, and associated plumbing to ensure a complete and straightforward installation process.
