Coolant Recovery Tank

The OER Coolant C-1240-3A is an accurate reproduction of the original equipment coolant recovery tank. Designed to be a direct fit for 1973-1977 Chevrolet Camaro models, this tank is constructed from clear/white plastic and features clear fluid level markings, as well as original part number markings. This coolant recovery tank includes essential mounting clips and screws for a straightforward installation. It is designed to replace original GM part numbers 153330 and 3996244, with stamped GM markings that include 463153, later superseded by GM numbers 333776, 3256615, and 344389. Note that the top cap is sold separately (part number C-1240-23A). One reviewer mentioned that this OER coolant overflow tank did not precisely match their OEM part for a 1974 Camaro, though another confirmed it bolts in exactly like the OEM one, with only minor visual differences and the overflow hose ring positioned on the opposite side.
