It screws into the unused idle air assist valve port on your K series water neck, providing the correct threads for a B or D series coolant sender. This allows your factory temp gauge to function correctly after a K series engine swap without splicing wires or using inline adapters.

This adapter allows your factory temperature gauge to function correctly by providing the necessary threads for a B or D series coolant sender, which is required because K-series engines use a different sensor. It utilizes the factory idle air assist valve port on the K-series water neck, eliminating the need for unsightly and potentially leaky coolant hose splice adapters. Constructed from CNC machined 6061 aluminum with a hard-anodized black finish, this adapter is built to withstand engine heat and resist corrosion, unlike cheaper brass or plastic alternatives. The package includes the adapter and a sealing washer. It features a 3/8" BSPT male fitting that threads into the water neck and a 1/8" NPT female port for the temperature sensor. This adapter is compatible with various K-series engines including K20A, K20A2, K20A3, K20Z1, K20Z3, K24A, K24A1, K24A2, K24A4, and K24A8, as well as any K-series water neck with an idle air assist valve port. It fits a wide range of chassis, including 1988-1991 Honda Civic/CRX (EF), 1992-2000 Honda Civic (EG/EK), 1993-1997 Honda Del Sol, 1990-1993 Acura Integra (DA), and 1994-2001 Acura Integra (DC), as well as any chassis using a B or D series coolant temp sender. Additionally, it is compatible with 2002-2006 Acura RSX, 2004-2008 Acura TSX, 2003-2007 Honda Accord, 2002-2005 Honda Civic Si, 2002-2006 Honda CR-V, and 2003-2008 Honda Element. No recalibration or wire splicing is required for installation.
