The Varis Cooling Bonnet Hood Version 2 is specifically engineered for the CZ4A Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X models from 2007-2016, offering enhanced thermal management and aggressive styling. This Version 2 hood surpasses its predecessor with the integration of additional, larger vents to ensure more effective engine cooling, thereby helping to maintain peak performance. Buyers can choose between two distinct styles: System-1, which presents a more streamlined design, and System-2, which incorporates extra vents and louvers for maximum airflow. The hood is constructed from premium materials, with options including FRP, Carbon Fiber, and VSDC (Varis Semi-Dry Carbon), each offering a balance of durability, weight optimization, and aesthetic appeal. However, Aerocatch latches are recommended but not mandatory for high-speed or track use. Aluminum mesh is included where applicable, and rain guards are also part of the package. Carbon products are delivered gel-coated and may benefit from a UV-resistant PPF or clear coat for optimal longevity and appearance. All hoods are shipped fully insured via palletized freight to ensure safe delivery.
