Show original supplier description
The CorkSport Power Series Short Ram Intake is engineered to transform your Mazda CX-5's 2.5-liter engine by replacing the restrictive factory airbox and filter. This performance upgrade not only boosts engine power but also enhances the auditory experience with a distinctive 'psshh' sound. The system includes a high-flow Dryflow filter, a custom-reinforced silicone coupler, and a precision-machined billet MAF housing that precisely matches OEM specifications for uninterrupted airflow and accurate sensor readings. Installation is straightforward, with an estimated time of approximately 1 hour and a difficulty rating of 1/5. CorkSport backs this intake with a 2-year warranty, full-color installation instructions, all necessary hardware, and dedicated telephone support. The Dryflow filter is reusable and washable, eliminating the need for oil. **Fitment Notes:** This intake is designed for the 2013-2025 Mazda CX-5 with the 2.5L non-turbo engine. It does not work with engines equipped with the EGR Cooler located on the intake manifold. It is not confirmed to work with the 2.0L engine and is used at your own risk. Some early 2019 production models may experience a Check Engine Light (CEL); a dealership visit for an updated PCM ECU flash (TSB #: 01-015/19) may be required. An increase in minor engine induction noise is to be expected.
