CORTEX M1 SOTDMA SMARTAIS TRANSPOND

The Garmin Cortex M1 Hub is a smartAIS® Transponder and Remote Vessel Monitoring system. It provides advanced collision avoidance, proactive alerting, and remote control of onboard systems via a compatible smartphone. Features include a high-speed transponder for heading transmission and threat warnings, alarms for anchor drag and man overboard (MOB) situations. It connects to external sensors for monitoring bilge pumps, security, and shore power, and integrates with MFDs and chartplotters via NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 networks. Galvanically isolated ports ensure electrical protection in marine environments. Built-in GPS, battery, and barometer sensors offer immediate data. A Cortex handset (sold separately) enables full functionality.
