Corvette Servo Piston Assembly

The TransGo 7-2P Corvette servo piston assembly is a performance upgrade for 1982-2015 General Motors vehicles equipped with 700R4, 4L60/E, 4L65E, and 4L70E automatic transmissions. Originally found in high-performance Corvettes, Camaros, and Firebirds, this servo offers significant improvements over standard OE servos. Featuring the largest 2nd gear apply surface area of all original equipment servos, the 7-2P provides a noticeably shorter and firmer 1-2 shift. The increased apply area in second gear also boosts the torque capacity of the 2-4 band. Furthermore, the differential area between the servo piston's apply and release sides modifies the 3-4 clutch accumulation rate, resulting in a firmer 2-3 shift. This upgrade is ideal for high-performance applications and is compatible with TransGo's SHIFT KIT® Valve Body Repair Kits and Reprogramming Kits. The assembly includes the piston, piston housing, small and large scarf cut seals, a blue O-ring, and a red O-ring. It corrects and prevents soft 1-2 and 2-3 shifts while increasing torque capacity in second gear. This product is designed for specific General Motors transmissions, primarily those utilizing the 700R4, 4L60E, 4L65E, and 4L70E models from 1982 through 2015.
