This reusable filter features a surgical cotton fabric media, soaked in oil, which acts as a tack barrier to capture contaminants. Sandwiched between aluminum screen wire, the cotton media straightens airflow, allowing it to move faster and improving overall engine performance. With a flow rate of up to 900 cfm, this K&N filter is capable of delivering power gains of up to 15 hp. Its design allows it to accumulate up to 1/4 inch of debris before air restriction necessitates cleaning. Specifically, this K&N E-1006 air filter is compatible with the 2000-2005 Dodge Neon, 2000-2001 Plymouth Neon, and 1999-2005 Chrysler Neon models, including the L4-2.0L F/I engine.
