Description

The Dana 140CS54015-1140M is a replacement coupling shaft designed specifically for Dana Spicer S140 Series tandem drive axles used in heavy-duty commercial applications. As a critical drivetrain component, this shaft is responsible for transferring power between the forward and rear tandem axles.

Due to the wide variety of chassis configurations in the commercial trucking industry, this part is highly specific to the individual vehicle's axle Bill of Materials (BOM). Compatibility must be verified by referencing the axle serial number or model number found on the axle housing ID tag. Using an incorrect shaft can lead to driveline vibration or catastrophic axle failure.
