The battery has a self-discharge rate of less than 3% per month, an expected service life of up to 10 years in standby, and up to 300 complete discharge cycles. It is UL (Underwriters Laboratories) certified and IATA approved (air freight), surface transport non-restricted DOT-CFR Title 49 parts 171-189. It also features patented Long Life Alloy for minimizing grid growth, reducing gassing, and extended battery life, and patented UL recognized flame arresting vents.
