The Covercraft WeatherShield HD Car Cover is designed for harsh, sunbaked environments and long-term storage. It is constructed from heavier 300 denier polyester fibers (approximately 40% heavier than WeatherShield HP) for maximum UV opacity, providing almost double the tear and tensile strength. The fabric is finished with the EPIC® by Nextec encapsulation process, which places protective finishes inside the fabric, encapsulating the woven fibers for all-weather protection, compact packability, easy-care, and a soft-to-paint touch without sacrificing breathability. It repels most water and helps prevent dust, dirt, bird droppings, and tree sap from reaching the vehicle's surface, while allowing heat, moisture, or condensation to escape. This custom-fit cover features built-in urethane elastic sewn into the front and rear hems for easy installation, and reinforced non-scratch grommets at the bottom to protect paint. The material is durable, solution-dyed, UV and fade resistant, machine washable, and can be easily stored in a trunk. It is backed by a six-year warranty.
