Overview

The Covercraft WeatherShield HP Car Cover is an advanced all-weather, high-performance cover designed for both indoor and outdoor vehicle protection. It utilizes a lightweight, breathable woven polyester fabric that features a unique encapsulation process developed in partnership with Nextec Applications. This process ensures superior durability and weather resistance. The fabric sheds water immediately upon contact, allowing for exceptional rain dispersion and quick drying—moisture can simply be shaken off. Its breathable properties prevent heat, moisture, and condensation buildup under the cover, protecting the vehicle's paint finish. The silicone polymers used in the fabric are less abrasive than traditional materials, offering superior paint protection. The cover is also lightweight and can pack down to roughly one-third the volume of multi-layer fabric covers, making it easy to store and transport. The automotive-grade dyes are fade-resistant, ensuring long-lasting color. It is also easy to care for, as it can be washed and dried at home. Each cover includes built-in urethane elastic sewn into the front and rear hems for easy installation, and reinforced non-scratch grommets for paint protection. The WeatherShield HP is not waterproof but will shed most water if kept clean, helping to prevent dust, dirt, bird droppings, and tree sap from reaching the vehicle surface.
