The WeatherShield HP fabric is a result of a partnership between Covercraft and Nextec Applications, Inc., utilizing a patented encapsulation process that places protective finishes inside the fabric. This process transforms ordinary fabric into a high-performance material that offers all-weather protection, compact packability, easy care, and a soft-to-paint touch without sacrificing breathability. While not entirely waterproof, when clean, it sheds most water and prevents dust, dirt, bird droppings, and tree sap from reaching the vehicle's surface. Its breathable nature ensures that any heat, moisture, or condensation under the cover can easily escape.
