CP 901 NAT-6IN X 55M-8 RLS/CS

The Shurtape CP 901 is a high-temperature masking tape designed for steel pipe coating applications. It features a solvent rubber adhesive that provides quick stick, excellent adhesion to hot pipes, and residue-free removal. The tape is constructed with a heavy-duty, fine-structured crepe paper backing that resists tearing and slivering, ensuring clean, sharp coating edges. It is splice-free for strength and reduced breaks.

This tape is field-tested and approved for Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) coating processes, including high-speed FBE and FBE with Abrasion Resistant Overcoat (ARO). It can mask powder coating on steel pipes at temperatures up to 475°F for short durations (1-2 minutes) and up to 350°F for longer periods. Its high initial tack allows for quick and secure application, and the backing prevents corrosion coating from being deposited on pipe ends.
