The CP-E αIntake for the Focus RS is a well-engineered cold air intake system. It features a 3.00” mandrel-bent tube with a CNC-lathed port for the PCV system, a CNC-milled MAP bung, and a laser-cut support bracket. The intake tube connects to the airbox via a 5-ply silicone elbow and a CNC-lathed aluminum bellmouth, which smoothly compresses air from 4.00” to 3.00” for increased airspeed. The system includes a 4.00” air filter, with a choice between Dflow™ or SynOil™. The airbox is constructed from laser-cut and CNC-bent 18-gauge stainless steel for corrosion resistance and thermal properties, keeping the interior cool. It utilizes both stock fresh air ducts and draws cool air from the wheel well. A clear plexiglass top cover seals the filter from heat and provides easy access. The box mounts easily in the stock location.
