cp-e xFlex Rear Motor Mount Black Ford Fusion SE 2014

Custom Performance Engineering (cp-e®) has redesigned the Ford Fusion Rear Motor Mount (RMM) to address the shortcomings of the stock mount. The stock mount's horizontally oriented bushing allows stress to act along two planes, leading to inadequate engine movement prevention. cp-e®'s design reorients the bushing vertically, so the engine's pendulum effect compresses the bushing properly, providing a stiffer system with a lower 65 durometer bushing.

Instead of urethane, cp-e® uses EPDM rubber for its bushings. Urethane can fail at temperatures as low as 200°F and often requires a higher durometer rating. EPDM withstands higher temperatures and has a higher density, allowing for a lower durometer rating while maintaining high reliability and support. This helps reduce NVH (noise, vibration, & harshness).
