Overview

CPP Piston Sets - Bullet Series. Pistons manufactured from 2618 alloy for strength and durability. Balanced to +/- 1 gram. Features include dual forced pin oilers, contact reduction grooves, accumulator grooves, and forged side relief. Includes a 1.5mm x 1.5mm x 3.0mm ring set (high-grade steel gas nitrided barrel faced tops, Taper Hook Groove Napier second rings, and 3-piece soft nitrided rail flex vent oils for severe duty applications). Comes with chromoly wrist pins with wire locks. FEA designed forging, made in the USA with tight tolerances. These pistons have a minimum pin boss span of 1.060" and use a 2.250" long wrist pin. Aftermarket rods with a small end width of 1.060" or more (e.g., BTR's 6.125" LS rod set BTRROD6125H1-8) may need narrowing by .080"-.100" for proper fitment. Carrillo & Bullet rods (0.900"-1.000" wide small end) do not require additional clearancing.
