The CP Bullet Series Piston Set, MPN BLS1007-015, is designed for high-performance GM LS engines with 15° heads. These 2618 forged dish-style pistons are suitable for forced induction (nitrous oxide, superchargers, turbos) and feature a specialized skirt for low noise operation. They are compatible with various GM LS displacements including 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, and 6.2L. The pistons come with a 1.5mm steel gas nitride top ring, 1.5mm Napier second ring, and a 3.0mm oil ring. They utilize .945 x 2.250" or .927 x 2.250" pins with a .180 wall standard. Many aftermarket rods will require small end narrowing of 0.080-0.100", though Carrillo and Bullet rods with 0.900-1.000" wide small ends do not require clearancing.
