High-performance racing piston kit for Kawasaki KX450F. This "Project X" series piston is designed for ultimate engine performance, strength, durability, and reduced weight. It features a fully boxed-style forging, double forced pin oilers, accumulator groove, pick lock removal grooves, anti-detonation grooves, X-style forging, lightweight pins, and is balanced to +/- 1 gram. The piston skirts are coated, and internal windows allow additional oil flow to the pin. New skirt designs maximize power and reduce piston rocking. The wrist pins are treated with a proprietary coating to eliminate pin galling. This kit is for a standard bore size of 96mm (3.780") with a stock stroke of 62.1mm (2.445") and offers a 13:1 compression ratio. Installation notes recommend deglazing the cylinder before installing the piston and rings.
