CP-CARRILLO Project X Pro Pistons feature a highly advanced and refined manufacturing process, developed over years of research, development, and testing with high-end OE companies. This process significantly increases the durability of the piston by reducing stresses in the pin bore area. Instead of traditional honing, specific machines and processes developed by CP-Carrillo create unique shapes and forms within the pin bore, allowing the pin to flex and removing stress from this critical area. This specialized technology, previously exclusive to high-end racers and OEs, is now available on select parts from 2016 at a competitive price. Through continuous development and testing, this process has drastically increased the durability of parts while consistently exceeding horsepower requirements.
