This is a high-performance, high-compression forged piston kit from CP Pistons, designed specifically for racing and demanding applications in the KTM 450 XC ATV. It is engineered to accommodate oversize valves and high-lift camshafts. The pistons feature an "X" style forging for superior strength, enhanced durability, and reduced weight. Key design elements include double forced pin oilers, full CNC machining for precision, an accumulator groove, pick lock removal grooves for easy maintenance, anti-detonation grooves, and lightweight piston pins. Each kit is meticulously balanced to +/- 1 gram for optimal engine performance. The kit includes the piston, piston pin, piston rings, and pin locks. Please note that Cometic top-end gasket sets are sold separately.
