CPLT Intake System

The SXTH Element Engineering CPLT Intake is a comprehensive performance upgrade crafted for the GR Corolla (2025+). It achieves up to a 14whp and 14wtq increase as RPMs climb, all managed by the OEM ECU without requiring additional modifications or triggering a check engine light (CEL) under normal operation. The intake pipe and airbox are constructed from XLPE plastic, offering durability and a lightweight design. This improvement enhances performance without altering the factory air and fuel ratios. Additionally, the redesigned airbox features an improved air entry point, drawing air from away from engine heat to deliver cooler intake air temperatures (IAT), further boosting performance and efficiency. Installation is a straightforward bolt-on process, requiring no additional modifications. However, it is important to note that a crankcase ventilation sensor may trigger a P2C90 Check Engine Light (CEL) on 2025+ GR Corolla models due to increased airflow. This emissions-related CEL does not affect normal engine operation or power output. SXTH Element is developing a mechanical fix for this CEL, and affected customers will receive these parts free of charge once finalized. For 2023-2024 models, a PCV fix kit and a Toyota TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) from a dealership can address this issue. While a Toyota TSB exists for ECU reprogramming for this CEL, its effectiveness with aftermarket intakes on 2025+ vehicles is still under research, and it must be performed at a dealership.
