Overview

The SC Project CR-T is a slip-on muffler and resonator designed for the Yamaha YZF-R6 2017-2020. It features a carbon fiber body and a stainless steel AISI-304 link pipe. This muffler is not homologated and is intended for race use only.

It offers a weight reduction from the OEM muffler, going from approximately 1900g to about 1100g. The CR-T slip-on is compatible with the stock catalytic converter.

The SC Project CR-T is a high-performance slip-on muffler and resonator engineered specifically for the Yamaha YZF-R6 models from 2017 to 2020. Constructed with a lightweight carbon fiber body and a durable Stainless Steel AISI-304 link pipe, the CR-T significantly reduces weight compared to the stock muffler, dropping from approximately 1900g to around 1100g. It features a straight-through design with no baffle, intended for maximum exhaust flow and sound. This particular SC Project CR-T muffler is designated as "Race only" and is not homologated for street use in most regions, including Japan, as noted by the warning "日本の一般公道での走行は不可です" (Not for use on public roads in Japan). It is designed to maximize performance gains, contributing an estimated +2.6 hp at 14000 rpm and +1.3 Nm of torque at 14200 rpm.
