The BMR Suspension Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit is a Level 2 upgrade designed to reduce wheel hop, bushing deflection, and cradle movement on the S550 Mustang. Constructed from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, stainless steel, and heavy-duty DOM steel tubing, this kit offers strength and durability. It features billet aluminum upper bushing lockout rings and lower bushing locating washers for secure capture and centering. The kit is a 100% bolt-on installation that requires no drilling and minimizes NVH.

The BMR Suspension Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit (Level 2, Red) is engineered to significantly enhance the performance of your S550 Mustang by reducing wheel hop, bushing deflection, and cradle movement. This direct-fit upgrade is constructed from premium materials including 6061-T6 billet aluminum, stainless steel, and heavy-duty 1 5/8-inch DOM steel tubing, ensuring robust strength and longevity. The kit includes billet aluminum upper bushing lockout rings to capture the inner bushing sleeve and outer lip of the bushing cup, along with lower bushing locating washers to secure the bottom portion of the bushings' inner sleeves. Installation is designed to be straightforward, requiring basic hand tools and approximately 1-2 hours. It is a 100% bolt-on kit that utilizes existing factory bolt holes and hardware, eliminating the need for any drilling or fabrication. The kit aims to minimize bushing and cradle deflection with a reported nearly no change in NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness), while also providing convenient, rock-solid rear jacking points. Performance gains include an estimated 80%-90% reduction in fore/aft and lateral cradle bushing deflection, and a 95% or greater reduction in vertical deflection. This kit is specifically designed to fit 2015-2023 Mustang Fastback models (covering model years 15-26). It is important to note that this kit is not compatible with Convertible Models unless installed without the fore-end lower cradle braces.
