The BMR Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit, Level 2, in Red, is engineered to significantly reduce wheel hop, bushing deflection, and cradle movement for the S550 Mustang, thereby enhancing traction and handling. This bolt-on upgrade is crucial for enthusiasts seeking improved stability during aggressive driving or racing. It effectively minimizes unwanted cradle bushing deflection to help maximize performance. Constructed from premium 6061-T6 billet aluminum, stainless steel, and heavy-duty 1 5/8-inch DOM steel tubing, this kit ensures both strength and durability. The design includes CNC-machined lockout rings and laser-cut support washers. It is finished in a long-lasting powdercoat, available in black hammertone or red, to maintain an attractive appearance and resist wear under harsh conditions. The kit is designed as a 100% bolt-on system, utilizing existing factory bolt holes and hardware, and requires no drilling or fabrication. Installation is straightforward with basic hand tools and typically takes between 1 to 2 hours. This kit offers about an 80%-90% reduction in fore/aft and lateral cradle bushing deflection and achieves a 95% or greater reduction in vertical deflection. Specifically designed to fit 2015-2023 Mustang Fastback models (covering model years 15-26). However, this kit is not compatible with convertible models unless installed without the fore-end lower cradle braces.
