Description

Dart GEN III fully counterweighted crankshafts are built for enhanced bearing load distribution, allowing them to withstand high-boost and high-rpm applications. With eight counterweights, the crank is substantially stiffened—which reduces flexing, and thereby puts less stress on the mains. Crank comes in a 4.000 in. stroke with an LS1 or LS7 snout, and has lightening holes in the rod journals to reduce crankshaft inertia weight for faster rotation and improved engine acceleration.
