Description

This 0% stock-sized pulley is a lighter version of the original equipment, designed to prevent premature wear on engine bearings and the oil pump, while also avoiding added vibration or noise. Crafted from 6061T6 aluminum, the ALTA pulley weighs a mere 0.65 lbs, offering a weight reduction of over 2.3 lbs compared to the stock component. Available in both 0% stock size and a +2% overdrive option, the ALTA LCP offers versatility. The +2% overdrive option is specifically for Supercharged Cooper S models and effectively increases boost by shrinking the supercharger pulley size proportionally. This design not only boosts performance but also improves belt contact with the pulleys, potentially extending belt life and reducing wear. Unlike some underdriven aftermarket pulleys that can lead to charging and drivability issues, the ALTA Performance pulley maintains the vehicle's charging system integrity.
