Crankcase Breather Box

The iABED VW827 Crankcase Breather box with remote oil filter feed plate offers an integrated solution for managing crankcase ventilation and establishing a remote oil filter setup. Constructed from robust T6061 billet aluminum, the breather box features a stainless steel back plate with a multi-hole punch. It includes an AN-12 port for crankcase breathing and two AN-10 connections for the remote oil filter feed and return lines. Additionally, a M12 x 1.5 female thread is provided for a filtered oil feed to a turbocharger or supercharger. An OEM Volkswagen check valve is integrated to help maintain oil in the cylinder head after the oil pump shuts off. This product is applicable to watercooled early 20V engines (AEB/ADR/AJL), as well as 16V and 8V engines. However, users will need to specify if they have a PL or 9A block, as the upper oil filter housing bolt differs by 8mm. iABED recommends providing a photograph of the oil filter housing flange with the order or after purchase to ensure correct identification.
