Description

This system connects your crankcase vent tube to the intake tube. As the intake draws a vacuum, it pulls gases from the crankcase. If crankcase pressure builds excessively, the system ensures it vents into the intake rather than to the atmosphere, with the catch can retaining the accumulated oil. This kit includes the catch can with fittings, a mounting bracket, 3/8" hose, and hose clamps. The can itself has a 16 oz capacity and is not baffled. Specific thread sizes include 16mm x 1.5mm for the top two in/out ports, 10mm x 1.0mm for the drain, and 6mm x 1mm for the two mounting holes on the back. As a universal application can, users will need to fabricate or source appropriate mounting provisions for installation. The frequency of draining the catch can will depend on the amount of blowby generated by the specific engine.
