Description

Clevite® heavy-duty engine bearings (rod, main, cam) are engineered for commercial and industrial engines. Most rod and main bearings use tri-metal CL-112 construction, while cam bearings feature a specialized design with a steel backing, copper-lead alloy, nickel barrier, and electroplated babbitt overlay. Clevite® cam bearings are precision-bored, eliminating the need for machining post-installation. The tri-metal design is durability-tested with a 12,000-psi rating, offering reliable performance in heavy-duty applications.
