The ACDelco 19300488 is a GM Genuine Parts crankshaft balancer, engineered to reduce torsional vibrations within your vehicle's engine. As an OE replacement, it serves as a crucial pulley for the engine accessory drive belts, ensuring proper function of components driven by the crankshaft. GM Engineers design and validate these parts specifically for Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac vehicles, guaranteeing fit, form, and function that meets original equipment specifications. This balancer is constructed with both elastomer and steel for durability and effective vibration dampening. It features a 10-groove serpentine belt design and an inside diameter bore of 1-1/2 inches (38mm), with an outside diameter of 7.71 inches. The product is internally balanced for optimal engine performance. Installation of this crankshaft balancer requires special tools, including a puller, and some mechanical knowledge. Signs of wear on an engine harmonic balancer can include engine vibration, excessive drive belt noise, balancer wobble, abnormal engine sounds, reduced engine power, or unusual odors. Regular inspection for damage or wear is recommended, and replacement is advised if any signs of damage are found.
