The Mazda B3C7-11-406 is a genuine OEM crankshaft pulley bolt, intended to secure the crankshaft pulley to the crankshaft. It is recommended practice to replace this bolt whenever the crankshaft pulley is serviced or replaced, ensuring proper torque and preventing potential failures. This specific bolt is designed for Mazda Miata models equipped with the "large nose" crankshaft, typically found in vehicles produced after VIN 209447. It is compatible with model years 1991-2005. While this bolt is a direct replacement for many Miata applications, it is important to note that the JASS Performance crankshaft locking tool, sold separately, has specific fitment notes: it does NOT fit the very early NA 1.6 models made in 1989-90 with 4 slots in the front of the outer crankshaft, but fits all later models where the outer pulley is screwed to the pulley with 4 x 10mm cap screws.
