The Evotech Crash Bobbins are model-specific motorcycle main frame crash protection designed for the BMW S 1000 RR Motorsport (2019-2022). These EP low-profile bobbins extend to either side of the BMW, attaching directly to the motorcycle's existing mounting points without requiring modifications. The bobbins themselves are constructed from durable nylon polymer, featuring an internal aluminum core for enhanced strength and impact absorption. This design makes them a sacrificial part, intended to absorb the initial impact in an incident and help keep the motorcycle away from harm, thereby reducing the risk of expensive damage. The kit also includes aluminum spacers, specifically shaped for each side of the motorcycle, and stainless steel caphead bolts manufactured in-house at Evotech Performance. Installation is facilitated by pictorial, step-by-step instructions included with the kit. Individual replacement bobbins and bolts are available for purchase should the unfortunate happen, ensuring continued protection. The product is finished with Evotech Performance logos, adding a subtle branding element. The brand also offers dedicated crash protection spares, including low-profile bobbins and spare bolts.
