Overview

The Champion MC161 is a cross-flow radiator designed for enhanced cooling performance. It features a core dimension of 17" x 28 1/4" and an overall dimension of 18 5/8" x 33". The hose locations are driver side for intake and passenger side for outlet, with 1 1/2" fittings on both.

This radiator is constructed with aluminum and includes a radiator cap. It is designed with a saddle mount type and has provisions for a transmission cooler with 1/2 20 straight thread G1/4 fittings.

The Champion MC161 radiator is engineered for optimal cooling in classic GM vehicles. This all-aluminum, cross-flow radiator boasts a substantial core size of 17" x 28 1/4" and an overall dimension of 18 5/8" x 33", providing ample surface area for efficient heat dissipation. Designed for ease of installation and compatibility, the MC161 features driver-side intake and passenger-side outlet hose locations, both with 1 1/2" fittings. It also includes integrated 1/2 20 straight thread G1/4 fittings for a transmission cooler and utilizes a convenient saddle mount type. A radiator cap is included with this unit. This Champion radiator is compatible with a wide range of GM vehicles from 1968 to 1985, including various Buick Centurion and Century models with engines ranging from 5.7L to 7.5L. The product code for this radiator is 161. Customers can also opt for different core row configurations, fan packages, coolant filters, and overflow tanks to customize their cooling system setup.
