Crossflow Radiator

The Flyin' Miata crossflow radiator offers significantly enhanced cooling capabilities for your vehicle. Unlike traditional top-to-bottom flow, its crossflow design allows coolant to move side-to-side, maximizing time spent in the core for superior heat shedding. Manufactured in collaboration with Koyo, this radiator boasts premium construction, including beautiful TIG welds, robust micro-welded O tubes, and NOCOLOK brazing for exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. Koyo's Hypercore technology further increases the effective surface area, boosting the radiator's ability to dissipate heat. Each unit undergoes three individual leak tests to ensure quality, and it comes with a two-year warranty. The radiator features a redesigned filler cap located directly on top of the tank for faster filling and a cleaner aesthetic, especially beneficial for MSMs. It also includes an improved, full-size drain for easier maintenance. The core thickness is optimized at 36mm (1.4"), striking a balance between heat-absorbing capacity and airflow resistance. This radiator is designed to fit all 1990-2005 Miatas, though specific bracketry and hose considerations apply. NA models reuse factory mounts, while NB models require new upper mounts and potentially an NB fan bracket kit. Modifications to stock fan shrouding may be necessary, and a crossflow-specific upper radiator hose is recommended if not using an FM coolant reroute kit. It does NOT fit with a TDR intercooler on a supercharger and may not fit with all intake systems; confirm fitment before purchase. Automatic transmission cars will require a separate transmission cooler as this unit does not include a built-in cooler.
