Crossflow Radiator

The Supermiata Crossflow Radiator is engineered to provide superior cooling for the 1990-2005 MX5 Miata models. This radiator utilizes a crossflow design, where coolant travels horizontally through the core, allowing for longer heat dissipation time and more efficient cooling compared to standard downflow systems. The design also places the filler neck on the low-pressure side, preventing premature pressure release. Constructed with a lightweight, high-performance 31mm core, this radiator features a 'B tube' design with an internal divider for increased surface area and optimized cooling efficiency. It boasts a high fin density of 19.5 fins per inch (fpi) and a compact 6.5mm fin height, maximizing coolant-to-core contact. The radiator is designed to be the lightest Miata high-performance radiator available, weighing only 7.8 lbs. It comes equipped with dual drain plugs for easy maintenance, a high-pressure 20psi radiator cap to raise the system's boiling point, and a sacrificial anode to combat corrosion.
