The CSF Supermiata Crossflow Radiator is engineered for enhanced cooling performance in Mazda Miata NA and NB models from 1990-2005. Its crossflow design allows coolant to travel side-to-side, providing more time to shed heat and improving overall efficiency over OEM downflow configurations. The radiator features a lightweight 31mm core with 19.5 fins per inch and 6.5mm tall ultra-efficient fins designed for maximum surface area contact and cooling. It includes convenient features such as dual 10x1.25 drain plugs for easy maintenance and a high-flow fill neck. A 1.4 Bar (20psi) high-pressure radiator cap is also included, raising the system's boiling point and further enhancing cooling capabilities. The radiator also incorporates a sacrificial anode to help reduce system corrosion. Installation notes indicate that a DIY modification is required to clear Mazdaspeed MX5 OEM intake tubing, and a change to the 2-piece OEM radiator fans may be necessary. Despite its advanced design, the radiator weighs only 7.8 lbs, making it one of the lightest aftermarket aluminum radiators available. The product comes with a 5-year warranty, the longest in the industry.
