Crossover Steering Kit

Upgrade your factory steering with the Steinjager Bare Metal Crossover Steering Kit, designed to enhance steering performance and stability for your 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ. This kit features a CNC-machined drag link and tie rod constructed from high-strength, 1.50-inch x 0.25-inch wall DOM tubing, paired with robust 0.75-inch Chrome Moly rod ends for superior durability. The bare metal finish offers a blank canvas for custom color matching to your TJ's aesthetic. Grade 8 hardware is included for a secure installation. Installation involves moderate mechanical skill, as it requires drilling out the stock pitman arm and spindles to 5/8-inch. The drag link connects to the pitman arm and passenger side spindle, while the tie rod attaches to the bottom of each spindle. The Steinjager Crossover Steering Kit is specifically designed for Jeep Wrangler TJ models with 0 to 4 inches of lift. It is recommended to use rims with 4 inches or less of backspacing or a minimum 16-inch rim to ensure clearance. Factory 15-inch rims may interfere with the heim joints. The adjustable length of this kit ranges from 35.6 to 36.6 inches; if your vehicle's dimensions fall outside this range, an "Extended" Crossover Steering Kit may be required.
