The Eagle CRS5700BLW is a set of eight lightweight H-beam connecting rods designed for Chevrolet small block engines. These rods are forged from 4340 steel and feature a fully machined and shot-peened surface for durability.

The Eagle CRS5700BLW connecting rods are engineered for high-performance Chevrolet small block engines, offering a lightweight yet robust solution for demanding applications. Constructed from a two-piece forging of vacuum-degassed, 4340-certified steel, these H-beam rods provide exceptional strength while minimizing rotating mass for improved high-rpm performance. Each rod in this set undergoes a rigorous multi-stage heat-treating process, followed by X-ray, sonic testing, and magnafluxing to ensure integrity. They are 100 percent machined and shot-peened to relieve stress in the metal. The design features a stout cap screw attachment with precision cap alignment sleeves for accurate rod cap placement. The rods are designed with a 5.700-inch center-to-center length and utilize floating wrist pins, with a pin end bore diameter of 0.927 inches and a big end bore diameter of 2.2250 inches. The big end width is 0.940 inches. This set includes ARP 2000 alloy rod bolts, rated at 220,000 psi tensile strength, with a 3/8-inch diameter and a 12-point head style. The connecting rods are weight-matched to ensure balance within the set and are suitable for restricted competition use. They are not clearanced for stroker applications. The rods are delivered with instructions and rod bolt lubrication.
