The Eagle Specialty Products CRS6358C3D are Eagle H-Beam connecting rods designed to enhance engine performance. Constructed from a 2-piece forging of vacuum-degassed, 4340-certified steel, these rods offer significant strength while being lighter than stock components. Each rod undergoes a rigorous multi-stage heat treatment process, followed by X-ray, sonic testing, magnafluxing, and 100 percent machining, before being shot-peened to relieve internal stresses. These H-beam connecting rods feature precision cap alignment sleeves for positive cap location and silicon bronze bushings suitable for floating pin applications. They are rated for up to 750 horsepower and 7,500 RPM, and are weight-matched for balance. The rods utilize ARP 8740 chromoly steel cap screws with a tensile strength of 160,000 psi, and are specifically sized with a 6.358-inch center-to-center length and a 2.3750-inch big end bore diameter. They are not clearanced for stroker applications.
