The RW Carbon CS Style Carbon Fiber Hood is engineered for BMW F90 M5 (including LCI and Competition models) and G30 5-Series (530e, 530i, 540i, M550i) vehicles from model years 2017-2023. This hood is constructed from genuine dry carbon fiber, providing a significant reduction in weight and an aggressive CS styling to enhance the vehicle's appearance. It is designed for a direct bolt-on installation, utilizing factory mounting locations and hardware, which typically takes about 2 hours with standard hand tools. RW Carbon recommends either removing the struts entirely or replacing them with a less resistant option. Additionally, when closing the hood, it should not be slammed; instead, even pressure should be applied with the palms of the hands to ensure it latches properly. Failure to follow these instructions can result in premature cracking or damage to the hood. RW Carbon guarantees superior fitment and quality for this product. All factory hood accessories are compatible and will carry over to the new carbon fiber hood.
