The VIS Racing CS Style hood is a premium carbon fiber body panel meticulously crafted for the BMW 5 Series G30, M5, and G90 models, specifically for the years 2017 through 2022. This hood is constructed from 100% ISO-certified, Grade-A carbon fiber material, ensuring both a lightweight and durable addition to your vehicle's exterior. The manufacturing process involves a two-part design. The top layer consists of authentic carbon fiber bonded to the hood surface with high-grade epoxy resin. This is then finished with an ultra-clear, Poly Shield UV-protective polyurethane coating, providing a brilliant high-gloss appearance and safeguarding against sun damage. The underside features a smooth, one-piece shell fused to the top layer, enhancing the product's overall structural integrity and rigidity. VIS Racing employs a Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.) to produce parts that are 10-20% lighter and more durable than previous methods. All VIS Carbon Fiber Hoods and Trunks come with a VIS badge of authenticity. Please note that hood pins are required for installation, and these products are intended for off-road use only unless local and state laws permit otherwise. Due to the size of this item, it will be shipped via LTL Freight Service, with pickup typically scheduled within 5-7 business days.
