The VIS Racing CS2 Style Carbon Fiber Trunk is designed to enhance the appearance and performance of your BMW 4 Series F32 2DR (2014-2019). This premium trunk is meticulously crafted from Grade-A carbon fiber using a two-part construction and the advanced Vacuum Infusion Process (VIP), resulting in a part that is 10-20% lighter than previous versions while maintaining exceptional strength. The exterior layer is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and finished with an ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating for long-lasting gloss and resistance to sun damage. A one-piece, smooth underside shell is seamlessly fused with the top carbon fiber layer, further increasing the trunk’s overall strength and stability. Hand-smoothed edges contribute to a premium finish. For safety and optimal performance, hood pins are mandatory when installing this trunk. It is also crucial to avoid reusing original factory hood or trunk struts, shocks, dampers, or springs, as these can apply excessive force and potentially lead to cracking. These trunks are intended for off-road or track use unless otherwise specified by local laws; always check your area’s regulations before using carbon fiber trunks on public roads.
