The VIS Racing CS2 Style Carbon Fiber Trunk is designed to transform your BMW 3 Series E92 2DR (2007-2013) by offering a blend of lightweight performance and sleek aesthetics. This trunk is constructed from Grade-A carbon fiber, bonded with high-grade epoxy resin and protected by an ultra-clear Poly Shield polyurethane coating for UV resistance and a lasting high-gloss finish. Utilizing the Vacuum Infusion Process (VIP), this trunk is 10-20% lighter than those made with traditional methods, while maintaining superior strength and durability. The design features a one-piece, smooth underside shell that fuses seamlessly with the top layer for enhanced stability. Each trunk is meticulously hand-finished with smooth edges and includes a VIS badge of authenticity. For installation and safety, hood pins are mandatory. It is crucial to avoid reusing original factory struts, shocks, dampers, or springs, as they can apply excessive pressure to the carbon fiber and potentially cause damage. This trunk is intended for off-road and track use, though street use may be permissible depending on local regulations.
