CSF 16-21 BMW M5 (F90) / 17-21 BMW M8 (F91/F92/F93) Twin Charge-Air-Cooler Set - Bengal Red Matte

The CSF 8178 High-Performance Charge Coolers were developed to replace the OEM charge-air coolers in BMW F90 M5 and F91/F92/F93 M8 vehicles. These coolers feature a liquid-to-air intercooler core with a 100% increase in core volume per side compared to the factory units. CSF has engineered these with 100% TIG-welded cast end tanks, replacing the weaker OEM crimped-on plastic end tanks, and integrated seamless charge pipes. The design also includes dual 1/8 NPT ports in the outlet air tanks, strategically placed for optimal performance with aftermarket methanol/nitrous injection systems. The set is designed for a 'drop-in fit' requiring no modifications for installation. Real-world testing has shown significant reductions in Intake Air Temperatures (IATs) and an improvement in 60-130 MPH times by approximately 0.3 seconds.
