CSF Charge Air Cooler Manifold

The CSF 8300B "Super Manifold" is a high-performance charge air cooler manifold specifically designed for Gen 1 B58 BMW engines, catering to enthusiasts and competitors pushing their vehicles beyond 600 horsepower. The OEM charge-air-cooler manifold is adequate for stock or lightly modified vehicles but reveals its weaknesses under increased fueling, turbo upgrades, and performance tuning, often leading to heat soak and "limp mode." This CSF manifold offers an all-in-one solution with extensive features. Constructed from raw billet aluminum with 100% TIG welding, the CSF 8300B utilizes a motorsports-grade bar/plate air-to-water intercooler core that is double the capacity of the OEM core, featuring 12 rows of water cooling compared to the stock 6. It is designed in SolidWorks using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) with an integrated air divider in the inlet tank for even airflow distribution. Key features include a port injection fuel rail for aftermarket fueling systems, individual 1/8" NPT ports on each cylinder runner for nitrous or methanol injection, and a sensor pad with three 1/8" NPT ports for additional parameter measurement. It offers easy access to the spin-off oil filter, eliminating the need to uninstall the manifold for oil changes. The design incorporates improved slotted mounting holes for easier installation and plug-and-play compatibility, requiring no modifications. This "Super Manifold" is built by Custom Plenum Creations in Australia. It comes with a hardware and installation kit containing 32 parts and picture diagrams for straightforward installation. The CSF 8300B is a direct upgrade designed for significantly lower pressure drop across the core compared to OEM, reducing stress on the turbo system and potentially allowing for higher boost targets.
