CSF Intercooler Upgrade

The Unitronic CSF High-Performance Intercooler Upgrade System is engineered to enhance cooling efficiency for the 4M SQ7 & SQ8 platform, addressing the limitations of the factory intercoolers in supporting a tuned 4.0TFSI EA825 engine. This system is the result of a partnership between Unitronic and CSF Race, incorporating PWR's Formula-1 Performance Grade Core technology. The core features a 2-row design with rolled tubes and turbulated inner fins that maximize heat dissipation from the charge air. The 4.85mm tall multi-louvered fin is highlighted as the most efficient in the high-performance industry. CNC-machined billet aluminum end tanks with precise tolerances ensure OEM-like fitment, and the entire unit is TIG-welded for durability. This direct bolt-on upgrade is designed to reduce Intake Air Temperatures (IATs) across various tuning stages, from Stage 1 to Stage 2, and helps resist heat soak during demanding driving conditions. Compared to OEM intercoolers, which can quickly exhibit heat soak and lead to performance-reducing corrections by the Bosch MG1 ECM, this CSF High-Performance Intercooler demonstrates optimal performance in demanding conditions. It is compatible with Unitronic's Stage 1, Stage 1+, and Stage 2 Performance Software for this platform.
