The VIS Racing Carbon Fiber Trunk is a CSL-style replacement designed to elevate the appearance and performance of your 2001-2005 Honda Civic 2-door. Crafted from premium-grade carbon fiber, it features a tight weave for superior strength and is bonded with high-grade epoxy resin. A durable, ultra-clear, UV-protective polyurethane coating provides a lasting high gloss finish. This trunk incorporates a one-piece, smooth underside shell for enhanced structural rigidity, and the edges are meticulously hand-smoothed for a premium finish. VIS Racing has further refined its manufacturing process by implementing the Vacuum Infusion Process (V.I.P.), which uses a single-mold vacuum to produce parts that are 10-20% lighter and more durable than previous methods. Each trunk includes a VIS badge of authenticity. Advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling informs its aerodynamic profile, aiming for improved stability at higher speeds, making it an ideal enhancement for spirited driving or track use. The seamless integration and rolled edges ensure a flawless fit that aligns perfectly with OEM panels. Compatibility is specific to the 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 Honda Civic models with 2 doors. Due to the intended uses of these products, hood pins are required, and they are intended for off-road use unless local laws dictate otherwise.
