Description

The Clevite 224-3513 is an aluminum piston designed for the 1994-1998 Dodge 5.9L 12V Cummins engine. This piston features a stock reentrant bowl head type and a standard compression height. It has a bore diameter of 4.016 inches and can be bored up to a .040" oversize.

Key specifications include a piston pin diameter of 1.575 inches with a floating retention type and an offset pin hole location. The recess depth is 0.866 inches with a recess volume of 44.5cc. The piston skirt clearance is specified at 0.0047 inches, measured at 0.472 inches from the bottom of the skirt.
