The Clevite MAHLE S42221.040 is a premium piston ring set designed for Cummins 5.9 engines manufactured between 1989 and 2004 (early). This set includes three types of rings: an upper compression ring (UCR) made of ductile iron with a ceramic chrome facing, and lower compression (LCR) and oil control rings (OCR) constructed with cast iron.
